Introduction

Hello, my name is William Tilbrook, and I am a 22 year old multi-disciplined graphic designer specialising in branding and identity. An enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who has a BA (Hons) Graphic Design degree at the University of Lincoln. Currently studying MA Graphic Branding & Identity at University of the Arts London. I have developed skills in communication and expression within design. As well as conceptual aspects that make up the process.

During my time at the university, I have won two external-to-curriculum competitions, including having worked with Lincoln University on an equality, diversity, and inclusion project within the design industry. Showcasing my ability to evolve as a designer by undertaking a range of projects in a variety of disciplines.

After this the implementation phase is where the finalized brand concepts and designs are executed across various platforms and touchpoints. This phase includes creating comprehensive brand outputs that detail the correct usage of logos, color schemes, typography, and other visual elements to ensure consistency.

Experience

MA Graphic Branding & Identity

In 2023 I accepted an offer to study MA Graphic Branding & Identity at University of the Arts London. On this course I further developed skills within the creative process producing detailed research studies and inspiring insight led work. I am currently working on my final major project exploring an open source rebranding process within the world of football club branding.

BA (Hons) Graphic Design

In October 2020, I began studying BA (Hons) Graphic Design at the University of Lincoln. During my time at the university, I have developed skills in communication and expression within design. As well as conceptual aspects that make up the process. These 3 years were a great time to establish myself as a designer and explore a rane of projects with various media forms and subject topics. Resulting in my second portfolio release and completing a essay looking into cross-cultural sensitivies within football branding.

In 2022 I was fortunate to win a competition on designing the brand identity for L6L21. Creating the logo visual assets and brand guidelines for upcoming immersive audio and visual company based in Liverpool. I have also worked on start up brands with concepts of my own thinking while collaborating with already establish brands on pitched projects.

Content Creator

During my teenage years watching WWE was a hobby of mine and I was fascinated by the creative aspect of it. So much I decided to create a YouTube channel and made concept match card graphic video's in my spare time. This was a success and I ended up with over 3000 subscribers and 900k+ views.
