About

The brief was to create a graphic identity for a new product, service, or organisation that draws inspiration from a rare or unique phenomenon asking the question how can we unlock rarity as a journey into the extraordinary?. My response to this brief was finding a key insight that the “Extraordinary is the New Ordinary” and we are illuminated by this compressed extraordinariness within our lives. The most simple things a now the most rare these days, this led to a journey I wanted to create with this brand which began with a profound appreciation for the Italian philosophy of “dolce far niente” – the sweetness of doing nothing. Drawing inspiration from the rich cultural heritage of Italy, I sought to translate this timeless concept into a contemporary lifestyle brand that resonates with the many modern-day seekers of tranquility and authenticity. In a world that is so fast paced our purpose is to keep things simple and give ourselves time to do nothing and believe in the transformative power of embracing life’s moments of sweet idleness.
